Edward Lee III, MPT, first joined North American Health Care in 2009 as a per diem physical therapist. He was promoted to Director of Rehabilitation at Alamitos Belmont Rehabilitation Hospital in 2012.
Edward first became captivated with PT at the age of 15, where he qualified for regional and state PT competitions in Texas. He has been a practicing PT since 2004 after receiving his Master of Physical Therapy degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch. He also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he earned a spot on the National Dean’s List and National Honor Society, among others. Edward also studied therapy related courses abroad at Oxford Brookes University in Oxford, England.
Edward gained invaluable experience as a traveling physical therapist, working in various patient care settings around the country. He has professional experience in areas including outpatient (neurology orthopedic and sports) acute care, sub-acute care, skilled nursing, home health and inpatient rehab.
Edward is a dedicated patient advocate and is committed to maintaining a patient-centered approach. He wants to thank the Alamitos Belmont family for their tireless dedication to providing first-rate patient care.
